Upper Room Sessions

Each week, the Upper Room Community meets to worship, discuss community concerns, learn from visiting instructors, practice skills, and pray for each other. On Thursday, we spend several hours together and our time looks something like this:
   
Reading and Reflection. - Gather, sing, study scripture and pray

Community Connections. - Community concerns; discuss recent ministry experiences, especially group experiences in Taking Back Ground.

A Meal Together - Dinner - we take turns cooking the community meal

Experiential Training- Practice sessions for teaching, counseling, and other skills such as: dealing with the media, intake interviews, dealing with hostility.

Prayer and Close - To the Upper Room (common area) to pray for each other.
